The Rules of the RPG

Out of context rules:
1. Please be respectful to all.
2. Don't be afraid to PM the staff if a question arrises - we are here to help!
3. Please use the minimum amount of chatspeak possible. Things like "lol" are fine, but not so that what you're saying is unreadable.
4. Do not spam with advertisements - there is a board provided.
5. Do not misuse the C-box. Even if you are only joking around, some things may scare off guests.
6. If you have an idea regarding the RPG speak up! I could always use help.
7. If you would like to become a staff member, please don't hesitate to PM me.

Regarding applications:
1. This site is to be absolutely literate, and it should show in your application. 3-4 paragraph minimum for anything that needs great detail.
2. You may have famous characters (kind of what the RP is about) but they cannot be real people or come from real people.
3. Please consider variety when you are making a character. We don't want too many ex-murderers, nor do we want 5,000 teenage actresses. Originality is key - unless you can do it better, then talk to me privately.
4. Please put the character's full name as your name - you may spice it up all you like.
5. Please don't post until a staff member has accepted you.

In character guidelines:
1. You may have as many characters as you would like, but they must be on separate accounts - unless they are twins.
2. There is to be an equal population of males and females - every time you create two girls you must create a guy next unless you have a substancial reason for why not.
3. The minimum word count is around 400 for each post. If you are feeling museless then just don't post until later on or the next day.
4. Sex, drugs, alcohol, language is all allowed. However, anything regarding explicit sex is to be labeled X or R or have some type of blatant warning. There is a special board for this type of stuff I will move it to so it doesn't show up in the most recent posts section.

Miscellaneous information:
1. Signatures and avatars are a great idea for you to use. The signatures may not contain illicit material nor warp the board.
2. If you read all this thoroughly, you do not need to put a sample post in your application.
3. Please try and keep to your celebrity's age as close as possible. Adults are wanted more than teenagers here.
4. Please vote!
5. Feel free to use these rules in your RPG as long as you provide a link to Devontaine somewhere and credit.
